Neal graduated from Linfield College in 1999, with a B.S in Exercise Science. He began to pursue a career in National Football League (NFL)

Neal Maddox began his personal training career as a college intern. He worked with persons with disabilities, including people with Down syndrome and multiple sclerosis. He also assisted in the development of a physical education curriculum for multiple elementary schools in McMinnville, Oregon.
