The Milwaukee Bucks selected Antetokounmpo with the 15th overall pick in the first round of the 2013 NBA Draft. At the age of 18, he made his NBA debut that October, making him one of the league’s youngest players ever.
In 77 appearances during his first season, Antetokounmpo averaged 6.8 points and 4.4 rebounds. Later, he was selected for the second team of the 2013–14 NBA All-Rookie squad.
