Damian Lamonte Ollie Lillard Sr. was born on July 15, 1990, in Oakland, California, United States. He was born to Gina Johnson (mother) and Houston Lillard (father). His parents got divorced when Damian was in high school.
For his education, Lillard attended Arroyo High School, in San Lorenzo, California. He then transferred to St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, California. Due to lack of playing time in the school’s basketball team, Lillard transferred to Oakland High School, where he was First Team All-League his junior and senior years.
