Lavin’s interest in BMX started as an interest in bikes when he was two and raced BMX until he was 15. Lavin left racing for dirt jumping and became a professional in it at the age of nineteen. Lavin tried out wrestling when he was in high school.
Career
Lavin participated and competed in events like “X Games” and the “Dew Tour” where he won bronze three times, silver once, and gold three times in the former. Lavin has also won the DK Dirt Circuit Champion, a champion in the Gravity Games, a European championship winner, and a CFB Champion. He was crowned the “King of Dirt” in 1995.
Lavin is currently sponsored by S&M Bikes, Headrush, Monster Energy Drink, Lavs Lab, and Kicker and is also the subject of a photorealist painting titled “King of Dirt”.
