Craig Ferguson was born on May 17, 1962, in Stobhill Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland. His father’s name is Robert Ferguson and his mother’s name is Janet Ferguson. Craig has two sisters; an older sister Jannice Ferguson and a younger sister Lynn Ferguson, and an older brother, Scott Ferguson.
Education
Craig Ferguson attended Muirfield Primary School. He also attended Cumbernauld High School in Scotland. He dropped out of school and began an apprenticeship to be an electronics technician at a local factory of the American company, Burroughs Corporation.
Career
Ferguson started his entertainment career as a teenager as a drummer for Glasgow punk bands such as the Night Creatures and Exposure. Thereafter, he joined a punk band called The Bastards from Hell. The band later rebranded to Dreamboys and performed regularly in Glasgow from 1980 to 1982.
Ferguson then delved into comedy when he was 18. He then created a character that was named “Bing Hitler” by Capaldi.
