David Guetta was born on November 7, 1967, in Paris, France. His father, Pierre Guetta was a sociologist of Moroccan descent, while his mother, Monique is of Belgian descent.
David is the half-brother of the prominent French journalist, Bernard Guetta, and the Franco-Italian actress, Nathalie Guetta, both through his father. He also has a half-brother, Dominique Vidal and a half-sister, Joelle Vidal from his mother’s first marriage.

David Guetta started his career as a DJ in early 1984 at the Broad Club in Paris. Within a year, he started hosting his own nightclubs. He released a hip-hop collaboration with French rapper, Sidney Duteil “Nation Rap” in 1990.
