Based on the Aventador, the Veneno was created to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary and was introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The car can reach 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and is the most expensive Lamborghini product in the world.

10. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita – $4.8 Million

At $4.8 million, CCXR Trevita is one of the most expensive cars in the world. The CCXR Trevita cost so much to manufacture, Koenigsegg decided to make the car even more exclusive and limit the number to just two.

Some of its unique features include a diamond weave carbon fiber finishing, a unique double carbon rear wing, an Inconel exhaust system, carbon-ceramic brakes with ABS, and a tire monitoring system.

Floyd Mayweather owns one of these in his personal collection. The CCXR Trevita has a top speed of 254 mph!

9. Pagani Huayra Imola – $5.4 Million

Pagani Huayra Imola is the ninth-most expensive car in the world with a price tag of $5.41 million. The car is limited to just five productions. It was announced back in September 2019, and since then Pagani has released more technical details.

The twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 engine developed by Mercedes-AMG specifically for Pagani now pumps out an astounding 827 horsepower and 811 pound-feet, making the Imola more powerful than the Huayra BC.

8. Bugatti Divo – $6 Million

The Divo is the third most expensive car made by Bugatti. With $6 million, you can own a hyper sports car.

It is powered by Bugatti’s iconic eight-liter W16 engine with a power output of 1,500 PS and is limited to a top speed of 380 km/h.

The car is named after French racing driver Albert Divo, who raced for Bugatti in the 1920s winning the Targa Florio race twice.  Bugatti is making 40 examples of the car.

To save as much weight as possible, Bugatti kept the inside comfort materials and infotainment to a minimum. However, the steering wheel does feature soft faux suede – and the blue and black aesthetic outside is featured inside as well.

Despite its peculiar looks, it’s one hell of a high-performance four-seater sports car with V12 twin-turbo engine. It was commissioned by a German subsidiary of Goodyear, Fulda, to test their new Carat Exelero tire range.

The car comes with a twin-turbo V12 engine producing 690 horsepower (510 kilowatts) and 752 pound-feet (1,020 Newton-meters) of torque. The top speed is listed at 218 miles per hour (350 kilometers per hour) and adjusted for inflation.

6. Bugatti Centodieci – $9 Million

Debuting number six on our list of most expensive cars in the world is the Bugatti Centodieci with a whopping price tag of $9 million. The 2021 Bugatti Centodieci will be even more exclusive: Only ten of these luxurious hypercars will be sold. 

Bugatti, already a brand known for unique bodywork and luxurious comfort features, has sought to give the Centodieci everything possible to make it memorable and completely decadent.

With a 1577-hp quad-turbo W-16, it may not be the fastest Bugatti currently on the road; but it is the quickest accelerating. With this car, Bugatti pays homage to the EB110 (or the ‘centodieci’), a supercar produced early in the ‘90s.

The Centodieci will have a top speed of 236 mph, or 379 kph distinctly less than the Chiron, but this hypercar makes up for it with its distinct modern aesthetic.

A powerhouse of automotive design and engineering, the Rolls-Royce Sweptail is a one-off luxury piece made in the United Kingdom by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Commissioned in 2013 for a super-yacht and aircraft specialist, whose identity Rolls-Royce does not divulge. The Sweptail made its debut as the most expensive new car in the world at the yearly Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event in 2017.

It surpassed all its rivals and remains one of the most expensive cars ever sold.

4. Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta – $17.6 Million

At $17.6 million, the Zonda HP Barchetta is one of the most expensive cars in the world. The car was named Barchetta because, to Horatio Pagani, that’s what it resembled: in Italian, a ‘little boat’.

Its frame is entirely formed of carbon fiber for an ultralight body and zippy, speedy feel. It’s blue-tinted, it has a minimized windshield, and it stands only some 21 inches tall (0.5 meters) at its tallest. 

Only three vehicles were ever made of this unique, specific version of the Zonda. Its acceleration is 0-60mph or 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds. The Zonda HP Barchetta can reach a top speed of 355kph or 220 mph.

Its top speed is 420 kph (260 mph), and its overall performance is engineered by an auto house famous for producing the most powerful cars in the world.

In 2019, it was the most expensive new car available for purchase. Two years have elapsed, and no one has yet released an expensive luxury car geared to knock La Voiture Noire off that high rank.
