In 1984, Before the Wu-Tang Clan, RZA formed a rap group called Force of the Imperial Master with his cousins Russell Jones, aka The Specialist, and Gary Grice, aka Allah Justice. In 1985, they were renamed All in Together Now. RZA and Grice also signed with Jamaica Records for management purposes. The record company then convinced Tommy Boy Records to sign RZA as a solo artist in 1989.
In 199, Wu-Tang Clan was formed by RZA, his two cousins and five other childhood friends. Following the formation of the group, each member was expected to adopt a name so Diggs went for RZA. As a group, they released their first single, “Protect Ya Neck”, in December 1992.
In 1998, RZA released his debut studio album titled “Bobby Digital in Stereo”. He also released three other albums including “Digital Bullet”, “Birth of a Prince”, and “Digi Snacks”.
