Christian Anthony Mathis, professionally known as Trick Trick, was born on June 28, 1973, in Detroit, Michigan, United States. His father’s name is George Mathis and his mother’s name is Michelle Mathis. Christian has a brother, Kameel Mathis who is also a rapper known by the name, Diezel.
As a teenager, Trick Trick began to gain an interest in hip hop as he listened to groups like N.W.A., Run D.M.C., and Public Enemy. Trick was given the name because he had his way of wooing and attracting girls in his neighbourhood. Shortly after he was released from jail time, Trick Trick focused on music and joined the trio known as Goon Sqwad.
Career
Trick Trick started his rapping career with Good Sqwad. But in 2005, Trick went solo and released his first studio solo album titled “The People vs”. He went on to release another studio album including “The Villain” and “SmokeGang”.
Trick also worked and produced some mixtapes including “The Wonder Boy Mixtape Vol. 1”, hosted by DJ Thrilla, “Straight Off 7 Mile”, hosted by DJ Babe, “The Landlord”, hosted by DJ Thrilla, “The Godfather 3”, “Outlaw”, and “GateKeeper”.
