Ainsley has two siblings: an older sister Elise Giles Earhardt who teaches in Charleston, and a younger brother, Trenton Earhardt who works in medical sales in Columbia.

Ainsley Earhardt attended Sharon Elementary School. She graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1995. After high school, Earhardt enrolled at Florida State University before transferring to the University of South Carolina, where she graduated with a B.A. in Journalism.

Career

Ainsley Earhardt started her career as a reporter for WLTX, a local CBS station in Columbia, South Carolina. In 20005, she moved to San Antonio, Texas where she anchored weekday morning and noon newscasts at KENS-TV. As an author, Earhardt has written two children’s books; Take Heart, My Child and Through Your Eyes and  The Light Within Me.

In 2007, Earhardt moved to New York City where she began working at Fox News Channel. She appeared on Hannity with her own segment called “Ainsley Across America”, and also co-hosted Fox and Friends Weekend, All-American New Year’s Eve, and America’s News Headquarters.
