Earl Tywone Stevens Sr professionally known as E-40 is an American rapper, songwriter, and actor. E-40 has an estimated net worth of $10 million. He is a founding member of the rap group “The Click” and the founder of “Sick Wid It Records”. Mr Earl has 28 studio albums to date and has appeared on numerous movie soundtracks.

Early Life
Earl Tywone Stevens was born on November 15, 1967, in Vallejo, California. Mr Earl and his siblings were raised by a divorced mother who worked three jobs to keep the home. He became interested in hip hop after hearing the song “Rapper’s Delight” by “The Sugarhill Gang”.
He started playing snare and bass drums from fourth grade in school. In 1985, he graduated from James J. Hogan High School in Vallejo. Back in high school, he played baseball, started recording music with his siblings. His entrepreneurial spirit made him start selling recordings from the back of a car.
In 1986, along with his cousin Brandt Jones, Steven enrolled at Grambling State University and attended the school just for a year.
Career
Mr Earl made his rap debut as E-40 in 1986 along with other members of the group “Most Valuable Players”. The group released a single “The King’s Men”. In 1990, the group later metamorphosized to “The Click” and released the EP “Let’s Side”. In 1992, they released their second album, “Down and Dirty” and in 1993 E-40 made his solo album debut.
E-40 sign a major label deal with Jive Records in 1994. Following the completion of his deal with Jive Records, he signed with “BME Recordings” and “Warner Bros. Records”. In 2003, he began hosting “E-Freezy Radio”, a weekly program that showcased Bay Area hip hop.
On July 26, 2019, E-40 released his twenty-sixth studio album, “Practice Makes Paper”.
E-40 is also an entrepreneur and investor. He first ventured into the business world when he alongside NFL player Chester McGlockton opened a Fatburger franchise. However, the business has now been shut down.
