Early Life
Matthew Haag was born on August 3, 1992, in Palos Hills, Illinois, United States. He was born to Jeff Hagg (father) who is a professional carpenter and Christiana Hagg (mother). Hagg has a brother and sister.
For his education, Hagg attended Amos Alonzo Stagg High School in Palos Hills, Illinois, graduating in 2010. He then proceeded to complete a two-year course in business studies at Moraine Valley Community College. Hagg also had worked at a McDonald’s restaurant before venturing into competitive gaming.
Career
Hagg started his professional online gaming career at age 16 on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. His gaming name “NaDeSHoT” originates from “grenade shot”, a lethal move in the Halo series in which a grenade is followed by a gunshot.
In June 2010, Haag became a member of OpTic Gaming, when he joined the OpTic competitive team. Four years later, he became the captain of OpTic Gaming after Will “BigTymer” Johnson resigned. In 2015, he stepped down as OpTic Gaming’s captain after a seventh-place finish at the Call of Duty Championship tournament. In 2016, Nadeshot decided to leave OpTic.
